John is an entrepreneur with big and small company experience.
He is co-founder of award-winning restaurant chain Leon, and he has worked alongside Vivian and Jacques since 2003. First as project leader at Bain & Company, and then from the end of 2003 as Executive Director of Whyte & Mackay, John led the development of the company’s turnaround strategy and worked with Vivian and Jacques to execute the plan, which included managing the branded business. Prior to Whyte & Mackay John spent seven years at Bain and Company on a range of corporate, venture and private equity businesses. Prior to Bain, John spent four years in commercial roles at P&G.
